Job description
The Data Governance Manager will lead the implementation of IPC’s Data Governance strategy, establishing a roadmap to professional accessibility of reliable and qualitative data and as such improving the data-maturity in IPC. By coordinating data requests and data provisioning, the role will enable seamless provision of data elements to support data solutions and become the center of excellence of data flows, definitions and data quality to support service owners improve data insights and automation to meet member & stakeholder needs to safeguard cross-border e-commerce growth whilst appropriately supporting the evolution of the mail business. The Data Governance Manager will report to the Head-Of Business Architecture & Process Improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Data catalogue of existing data elements
- Data coordination and governance community to synchronise demands
- Center of excellence on data related matters for postal and non-postal flows
- Maintaining and expanding IPC data solutions
- Action plans for data governance enhancements, expansion of existing services and establishment of new data solutions
- Development and implementations plans, including training, ad-hoc support, etc.
- Increased customer satisfaction and usage of IPC solutions and services.
Profile
You have
- 3-5 year of experience in Data Management,
- (1) Data Governance beneficial
- (2) Data Quality beneficial
- (3) Data Catalogue / Metadata Management beneficial
- Proven track Record in data management disciplines and
- (1) operational data management & data governance projects
- (2) operational data quality management & data quality management projects
- (3) operational metadata management & data catalogue projects
- Experience in a fast-paced business environment
- Experience in a data-driven role (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science)
- Experience in efficiently dealing with multiple stakeholders and user groups
- Experience with data contracts/data extraction/ ETLs
- Experience with facilitation of internal/external meetings and workshops
- A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science, business computer science, information management or in general IT/ equivalent profession
