The Innovation Lead will be responsible for coordinating and systematically managing the company’s innovation domain in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. The role involves centralizing all innovation initiatives, ensuring a structured process for prioritization, and translating initiatives into solutions for development and implementation. A core aspect of the role is fostering a "say yes" mindset to encourage creativity and progress while maintaining resilience and understanding the urgency of innovation, balanced with patience to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.

We are seeking a dynamic Innovation Lead with deep business and technological understanding to centralize and lead the company’s innovation domain, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Innovation Lead will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead innovation initiatives across the company with a structured and organised approach.
- Centralize and oversee all innovation initiatives, ensuring a structured prioritization process and progressing ideas into actionable solutions for development and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and create a business case for every initiative selected for advancement.
- Develop and implement a process for fostering innovation within the company, from idea generation to transferring ownership to operational teams. This includes:
- Building comprehensive business cases.
- Securing funding sources.
- Drafting technical requirements.
- Managing the transition to development and implementation in line with company decisions.
- Champion a "say yes" culture, promoting innovation by embracing ideas, navigating challenges with resilience, and maintaining a strong focus on execution.
- Balance the need for speed in driving innovation with the patience and strategic thinking required to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Promote and incorporate a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture within the innovation process, leveraging proven CI methodologies to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Your profile
Education
- A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in development roles within supply chain-focused companies.
- Experience with supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, or Manhattan Associates).
Skills
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Deep business understanding of the supply chain and logistics sectors.
- Advanced technological understanding, with the ability to address both business and technological aspects of the supply chain field.
- Expertise in producing high-quality technical documents and business plans.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Proficiency in innovation and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Monday.com.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data analytics platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms and services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of prototyping tools and collaboration software such as Figma, Miro, or Slack.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, embrace change, and foster a culture of innovation.
- Strong ability to work independently, high motivation, and resilience in the face of challenging situations.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred experience in entrepreneurship and innovation domains.
- Knowledge of additional languages (besides English), particularly those relevant to the company’s operational regions, will be an advantage.
