In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017, operating revenue increased by ¥50.4 billion year on year. With respect to the Delivery Business, the increase was due to growth in the mailorder market as well as an increase in TA-Q-BIN delivery volume amid growth of the TA-Q-BIN Compact and Nekopos services largely stemming from business via flea market websites. With respect to the non-delivery businesses, the increase was primarily due to firm results from existing services.
Operating income decreased by ¥33.6 billion year on year. The decrease was primarily attributable to factors such as high costs incurred for securing workforce capacity to handle higher operating volume amid a tightening labor market, and also attributable to having recorded payments for specially acknowledged working hours additionally recognized.
