Total revenue for Slovenska Posta dropped 3% in 2020, with declines in mail, retail and financial services offsetting growth for parcels and express.
Domestic e-commerce drove a 38% increase in parcels and express volumes for the post in 2020. Volumes delivered to lockers more than trebled from 2019. However, lower cross-border demand in the first half of the year drove a sharp decline in international mail volume and revenue for the year. Combined with lower business mail demand, this resulted in a 5% drop in mail revenue in 2020. In 2021, Slovenska Posta continued to invest in its modernisation, targeting increased service digitisation and network restructuring.
