Driven by declines for mail and financial services, only partly offset by growth for parcels and express, Poczta Polska recorded a 5% drop in net sales in 2020.
Subsidy contributions to other operating income ensured that total revenue continued to grow. However, higher parcel and pandemic-related costs resulted in the post recording its first operating loss since 2008. In 2020 and early 2021, the post signed several agreements with leading e-retailers to support its e-commerce delivery services. It also plans to significantly expand its parcel locker and pick-up point networks in the coming years. For more details download the latest IPC Carrier Intelligence Report for Poczta Polska.
