The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the growth of online sales on a global scale. Internetstores is one of Europe’s leading retailers specializing in cycling and outdoor products. The pandemic has increased demand for its products even further. Internetstores has 40 online stores in 14 countries as well as brick-and-mortar stores in Germany, Sweden and France. The company’s Nordic warehouse is located in Helsingborg, Sweden. From there, it normally takes goods 2–3 business days to reach Finland.
-To become the clear market leader in the Nordics we see that local logistic partners plays an important role in providing a good customer experience. Our customers appreciate quick deliveries and reliable item tracking, says Jakob Schenström, Head of Bike Nordics at Internetstores, commenting on the factors that affect the selection of a logistics partner.
According to the new Nature Relations Barometer of the Ministry of the Environment and the Finnish Environment Institute, one in four Finns feel that their relationship with nature has become more intimate during the spring pandemic and the majority of Finns have spent more time in nature.
-Finns have a strong connection with nature, and many of us spend a lot of time outdoors, biking, hiking or in other leisure activities. We are thrilled to bring top outdoor brands to Finns and at the same time support the growth goals of this great company in the Nordic countries,” says Sami Finne, Vice President, International eCommerce, Posti.
Posti’s services in Finland are 100% carbon neutral. As part of the development of its emission-free e-commerce logistics, Posti began to use Neste MY Renewable Diesel for its light delivery fleet in June.
