Whistl renews Rigid Truck Fleet with 48 D Range Renault Trucks

Whistl, the leading delivery management company with activities in Business Mail, Doordrop Media and Parcels, has signed a leasing and maintenance contract with BRS for 48 Renault D Range Rigid Trucks.

The deal worth £2.5m is for a mix of 7.5, 18 and 26 tonne trucks and was awarded following a competitive tender process that included feedback from Whistl’s drivers who test drove the competing trucks.

Whistl announced last month that it had signed a deal for 41 new double deck trailers as part of a wider fleet renewal programme.

Nick Wells, CEO said: “We continue to invest in Whistl to ensure we provide the most efficient and cost-effective service to our customers. Our transport team are an important part of the Whistl operation and I am pleased that we were able to gain the input of our drivers in this significant investment decision.”
