Posti has over 2100 service points around in Finland. Many Posti outlets operate on the premises of Posti’s partner businesses—such as shops, kiosks and service stations—and they are usually open according to the partner business’s opening hours. In these cases, you can find out about exceptional opening hours by visiting the website of the partner business. Posti’s own shops are open during public holidays this spring as follows.

Opening hours of Posti outlets during Easter

Posti’s own shops will be open as usual on Maundy Thursday (April 18). During Easter, Posti’s own shops will be closed from Good Friday to Easter Monday (April 19–22). However, the Helsinki Main Post Office will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Santa Claus’s Main Post Office at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi is open every day of the year. During Easter, the post office will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Opening hours of Posti outlets on May Day

On Tuesday, April 30, Posti’s own shops will be open until 6 p.m. Posti’s own shops will be closed on May Day (Wednesday, May 1). Santa Claus’s Main Post Office at the Arctic Circle will be open on Tuesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on May Day from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Opening hours of Posti outlets on Ascension Day

On Ascension Day (May 30), the Helsinki Main Post Office and Posti’s own shops will be closed. Santa Claus’s Main Post Office at the Arctic Circle will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Ascension Day. In addition, all of Posti’s own shops will be closed on Mother’s Day (May 12), with the exception of Santa Claus’s Main Post Office. Santa Claus’s Main Post Office at the Arctic Circle will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mother’s Day.

Posti Parcel Lockers will be available according to the opening hours of shops and shopping centers. You can pick up your parcels and online purchases from the parcel locker and drop off pre-paid parcels for transport. Smartpost parcel lockers on the premises of housing companies are available to residents 24/7. In addition to picking up and dropping off parcels and online purchases, these parcel lockers can also be used for dropping off pre-paid letters and postcards.
