With only 32 shopping days left before Christmas day, Australia's online shoppers are set to win big, with Shipster's free shipping now available to every household across the country. Offering free shipping on eligible purchases at over 50 of Australia's biggest online stores, and two months free for new sign-ups, Shipster is the latest program from Australia Post to make online shopping easier this Christmas. Customers simply need to spend $25 and over on their shopping cart with a participating retailer to have shipping costs automatically discounted at the checkout.
Australia Post Chief Customer Officer, Christine Corbett, said that with just 32 shopping days left they are thrilled to take the service nation-wide.
"Shipster has really taken off with our customers who love to shop online, so we are incredibly excited to extend this to every household in time for Christmas.
"Regional Australians are regular online shoppers, with these households each receiving about nine parcels per year. Online shopping makes it easier to access the brands and products they love but don't have locally, so no matter where you are, you can shop when you like and where you like without the hassle.
"This means we're delivering free shipping to 11.6 million delivery points in Australia, so our hard working posties and drivers will be working around the clock to make this Christmas extra special.
"All you need to do is spend $25 and over to unlock free shipping from more than 50 of Australia's biggest and most-loved retailers, it is that easy," Ms Corbett said.
