Last year bpost and Dutch company de Buren joined forces to bring to market a delivery method that answers the needs of e-commerce customers. The result is Cubee: an independent, open network of parcel lockers for retailers, online customers and couriers.
Cubee parcel lockers will make life easier for online consumers. They can use Cubee to pick up, send or return parcels when and where they want. A fast and simple way to receive and send parcels. Furthermore, it is an open, independent network. A parcel from any logistics partner can be delivered to a Cubee parcel locker. In addition to bpost, Cubee today reached an agreement with DPD and GLS, among others. The open character of the network is the biggest differentiating factor compared to the former bpost parcel lockers.
All 150 existing bpost parcel lockers have already been converted into Cubee parcel lockers. And Cubee is expanding its network of locations every day. Cubee aims to have more than 450 parcel lockers in Belgium by the end of 2018. Existing Cubee parcel locker locations are listed at www.cubee.be. How to use Cubee? When shopping online, select the Cubee parcel locker as delivery method. You receive a one-time code by email or text message to open the Cubee parcel locker in your chosen location. You can also use Cubee to send and return parcels.
Koen Van Gerven, CEO van bpost is pleased with the launch of Cubee. “By moving to an open network we are responding fully to the needs of retailers, e-tailers and online customers. The world of parcels is developing at breakneck speed and our customers need very flexible solutions and an open network that is geared to them."
