IPC Annual Conference 2014 - E-Commerce: the New Normal

The 2014 IPC Annual Conference titled “E-Commerce: the New Normal” took place in Lucerne, Switzerland.

IPC welcomed 25 CEOs and senior managers from posts around the globe, including China Post, India Post, Japan Post, Philippines Post and Pos Malaysia, who debated e-Commerce challenges and opportunities.

Guest speakers from leading posts and e-retailers, as well as academics presented the main consumer and market trends as well as postal strategies addressing e-Commerce.

As e-Commerce could soon account for up to 75% of retail trade if the consumers’ needs are met, CEOs underlined that the only way for posts to benefit from booming international e-Commerce is to join forces.
