Through increased operating efficiency, including workforce reductions, greater automation and improved contract planning, the post has also seen a sharp rise in profitability in recent years. For 2021, it recorded an EBIT margin of 12%, up from close to 0% in 2018.
The post also saw its parcels market share improve in 2021, in part through new services launched to meet cross-border demand.
