Posti will open an OmaPosti kiosk at the Tuusula Housing Fair in the summer 2020. The kiosk will be located at Neste’s “service station of the future”. At the self-service kiosk, customers can pick up, return and send domestic and international parcels and registered letters every day of the week. The OmaPosti kiosk at Puistometsäntie 1 will open even before the official opening of this summer’s Housing Fair, on Thursday, July 9, 2020.
The OmaPosti kiosk in Rykmentinpuisto will complement the postal services in Etelä-Tuusula, making online shopping, for example, even easier for local residents and other people in the area.
“Online shopping and parcel volumes grew at a tremendous rate during the past spring. This growth needs to be supported by flexible service options that are close to people’s daily routes. This will also help reduce the emissions arising from deliveries. Customers can easily keep track of the arrival of their online purchases through the OmaPosti application,” says Heiko Laubach, Head of Retail Network at Posti.
The kiosk is part of the Neste Express Tuusula Rykmentinpuisto service station, which also includes an Easy Deli self-service store and offers Neste MY Renewable Diesel™ as well as fast charging facilities for electric cars. Solutions that minimize the climate footprint have been used in the construction, operation and product selection of the service station.
As part of the development of its emission-free e-commerce logistics, Posti announced in June that it will begin to use Neste MY Renewable Diesel in its light delivery fleet.
