The Supervisory Board of PostNL nominates Hannie Vlug as member of the Supervisory Board for a period of four years. The proposal to appoint her has been made in accordance with the enhanced recommendation right of the Central Works Council. The nomination will be scheduled for approval by the shareholders of PostNL at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in April 2022.

Jan Nooitgedagt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “We are pleased with the proposed appointment of Hannie Vlug to the Supervisory Board. We aim for a balanced composition of the Supervisory Board, and Hannie fits well within the profile of the Board. She has a broad and diverse background as director in the public and private sector and has outstanding managerial and supervisory competences and experience. Her expertise and background will be a valuable addition to the Supervisory Board.”

Hannie Vlug currently is chairwoman of the Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven, an organisation that brings together vocational education and business. Previously she held several managerial functions within the Dutch government, including as director employment relations and director sustainability. Also she has ample experience as supervisor in the public and private sector. Among others, she was member of the Supervisory Board of health insurer Zorg en Zekerheid and housing cooperative Woonzorg Nederland.
