Hotel accommodation
Rooms for Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May have been provisionally booked at a nightly rate of EUR 230 at the SO Vienna Hotel. Rates are inclusive of breakfast and taxes. Double occupancy is offered at an additional €20.
Delegates will be required to settle the cost of hotel accommodation and extras directly with the hotel upon departure.
When you select your room through the registration form, your reservation request will be booked directly with the hotel by IPC based on the information provided. Please be aware that no confirmation email will be sent by the hotel.
Event venue
The IPC Annual Conference 2020 and conference lunch will take place at the Österreichische Post Headquarters, located in the Rochusmarkt area in Vienna. The recently inaugurated ‘Post at Rochus’ building won the Austrian State Prize for Architecture 2018, for the successful integration of art and architecture. A new modern structure joins onto a historic landmark building from the 1920s via a multi-story atrium. The building is renowned for its modern and innovative work environment, as well as its open communication concept and future-oriented workplace design.
Airport transfers
Guests will be met at Vienna International Airport by IPC representatives and transferred either directly to Österreichische Post Headquarters or to the hotel, according to the arrival times provided upon registration.
Transfers back to the airport will be provided on Friday 29 May. Departure times will be communicated closer to the event, according to the information provided upon registration.
Cancellations or no-shows
You may cancel your attendance at any time following your registration to the IPC Annual Conference. Cancellations must be communicated by email to [email protected].
Please note that changes involving a reduction in the number of rooms and/or nights can be made without incurring a cancellation fee up to and including 13 May 2020. Any registrations received after this date will be considered final.
Due to the pre-booking of rooms at a negotiated price, guests will be liable for 100% of the room cost for changes to registrations received after 13 May 2020 that involve a reduction in the number of rooms, and/or nights’ accommodation originally reserved. No-shows will also be rebilled at 100% of the accommodation cost for the nights reserved.
