IPC partnered with An Post to organise the 2013 IPC Drivers’ Challenge on the Mondello Park racing track near Dublin, Ireland. The two-day event, hosted by An Post, took place from 30 September to 1 October 2013, and combined a number of eco-driving tests with elements of customer care and safe driving. The winners of this year’s edition were: Norway Post in first place, PostNL in second and An Post ranking third out of seven participating posts.

Following the successful pilot edition in 2012 with five participating posts (An Post, bpost, Le Groupe La Poste, PostNL and PostNord), IPC partnered with An Post for the organisation of the 2013 IPC Drivers’ Challenge on the Mondello Park racing track near Dublin, Ireland.

The two-day event, hosted by An Post, took place on Monday 30 September and Tuesday 1 October 2013, and combined a number of eco-driving tests with elements of customer care and safe driving. The challenge also included some car-handling and agility tests. Top drivers from a variety of postal operators participating in IPC’s EMMS programme strived to excel amongst their international counterparts and take the 2013 IPC Drivers’ Challenge trophee home.

The winners of this year’s Drivers’ Challenge are:

  1. Norway Post: Ole Henning Bøe and Svein Onarheim.
  2. PostNL: Kees-Willems Rademakers and Gert-Jan De Jong
  3. An Post: Josephine Sugrue and Mark Kinnucane
